Thanks all, I have made up mind to come to Doha, I plan to join the organization on 10th of July. I was bit sceptical earlier but some of the friends like you have given me great confidence. I work with a leading System Integrator in India and make roughly 55K USD in India. I have 10 years of experience and certified as Lead Security Auditor but lot of experience in Telecom core applications security.

Although 100K USD looks to be a great salary but considering the opportunitues, i have decided to move ahead with Doha Plan.

Also my wife was in DPS since last 10 eyars in Delhi so she has to leave job and not aware of her career and earning prospects.

Don't run after money, let money run after you ;-)

I am with FU, Khawaga........the sacrifice Gulf jobs demands can never be compensated or measured in monetary terms.

ALways consider promising long term career progressive opportunity.

Looking at your credentials and age (between 32-34, my best guess)....

you could make a short term plan and always be prepared to go back if it doesn't suit you or your family.

This sound quite challenging however one has to take risks in life......No pains no gains....

FU: this is a good point. Don't just jump for the money. Your new position may offer you no opportunities for advancement or no free time to be with your family and friends. Take all of these things into consideration before making a decision to uproot your family.

consider your current position in India in terms of career level,designation and learning. Please do not do a direct conversion of the salary you would be drawing here. Doesn't work that way. Consider the opportunity cost as well.

Come out of India, if money is the ONLY or first priority and have future long term prospective.

Can you give the details of your earning in India so I can suggest you for leaving India and coming over here to work.

The offer looks good at a glance, but how good is it only you can say as you alone know what you get as of now in india. I would make a switch from the job in india to another country unless i get at least 3 times what i get, The Reputation of the orginazation that has offered me the job matters a great deal.

I wish if you can detail the name of the orginazation , it is easy to say YES or NO as Qatar is a small country and all Good Orginazations are well know and you can get a clear feed back. My advice is when seeking suggestion please detail all important matters and name of the orginazation is most Vital. God bless
