How much is the decent salary for a CPA holder here in Qatar? I have no experience in ERP system. It seems like it is one of the requirements in order to be hired in good organization here. Should I accept an offer amounting to 5800 qatar riyals (inclusive of accommodation and transportation)since the company has ERP system and look for more decent remuneration after one or two years perhaps?

I am so confuse…Please help!!!!

Thank you very much for all the answers and information. I am a Filipino and under husband sponsorship. I had six years working experience but this is my first attempt to work in a foreign country. I think it would be wise for me to wait and look for another decent offer. Thank you for the help.

I am CPA and currently working here in KSA as a Payroll Accountant and earning 8,000 Saudi Riyals inclusive of housing and transport. I have few job offers in Qatar but of course I am looking for more than what I am receiving now, I suppose this is the mere reasons of moving, I am bargaining for 15,000 up family status, inclusive of transport, housing, and education benefits for my kids. From what I have heard and advices of my friends working and living in qatar this is now the trend in job market there. Hi!

I'm working here and I get approximately the same salary + accommodation + transport. If accommodation and transport are not covered by your company, then 5800QR will make you suffer!

Are you a CPA ?..... then 5800 is too low for you

An Accounts Assistant gets this much , in a goood company.

As some of our friends, it may not be a QATARI, who must have negotiated for this salary. I am sure , it must be a National from his own country, who "negotiated"... and "reached this mystical figure "....

here in qatar everything these qatari wants is your passport. if its american brit or aussie then you will get no matter whatever work you want but if you have paki indian or other passport they will really treat you like shit so my opinion is to find work in dubai or other part of the world.

5800 is peanuts you cant live in this amount here at all, a good salary range for an erp consultant sıhould be 10,000 to 15,000 atleast. By the way what ERP are you using, if its SAP then only QP is using and it so hard to get into QP again if you dont have passport from america brit etc.

So before getting to qatar try to find a passport and forget about experience or education. Also I know a lot of erp professionals and qatar is a waste of ones professional life.

my 2 cents

look dear, if you have not arrive to Qatar you may negotiate your salary, coz once you jump in Qatar no way to change your work permit or sponcer and then you will stick under poverty,, meaning 5800 is sooo little, even you wouldnt be able to buy clothes for your work,,,
