RAS LAFFAN IS APPROX 1 HOUR DRIVE FROM DOHA AND A REMOTE AREA WITH NO FAMILY ACCOM. THE NEAREST TOWN BEING AL KHOR WHERE I LIVED SOME YEARS AGO BUT YOU WOULD BE BETTER MAKING YOUR HOME IN DOHA AND TRAVELLING TO WORK THIS WOULD BE FAR BETTER FOR YOUR WIFE AND BABY .X

Hello Qatar Lady,

Thanks for your reply, I am not sure of about housing at Ras Laffan, is there any accomodation in this area? what about transportation to this area?

How much would be an average living expense for 2 adults in qatar?

Thanks

Depends for which job. If you are a tea boy it's good, if you are a mechanical engineer it's not.

yes you can survive since your kid is only a baby. Schooling here is expensive so since your kid is still a baby, nothing to worry now. Should be able to save as well if u r not a big spender.

COST OF LIVING IS DEPEND ON HOW YOU SPEND. IF YOUR SALARY OFFER IS HIGHER THAN WHAT YOU ARE RECEIVING AT THE PRESENT, THEN GRAB IT. IF NOT, THINK ABOUT IT...

how old is the baby? any schooling once your kid gets older? school fees are a killer

Transport seems very low and is not enough to lease a car and if used for installments will not get you something save

not sure about housing and whats the best option as you are located in the dessert.

12128 QR seems a very funny number to offer to someone anyway I guess good 1/2 you need to spend for food, utilities, mobile, TV and so on if you intend to have your own space and not shared as I understand some families do as well.
