Hi I am software architect/engineer with 7 years of experience. I am offered a job as Senior Software Engineer with 10 K AED Basic 4 K Accomodation and 1 K transportation. I am married with two children and one is school going but have no plans initially to bring them with me from Pakistan.

What are my chances of survival/savings with family and without family in Qatar.

Regards

Bu remember living without family isn't easy here. There is also a cost of living without family which u will be bear emotionally and in the long run. I will not suggest u to come alone.

Thanks for feedback. It is AED not Qatari Riyal. So what I got from all is that I should not bring my family with me.

You can survive with your family with that monthly income but SAVING...well is another riddle to guess.

I'm not sure that 4K is enough to house a family. It's a little on the skimpy side even for a single without sharing.
