You ought to start a new post rather than continue within an existing one..but i am 23 and recently came from london and have found a job so i can say that it is possible...email me at qsibtain hotmail.com if you have an other questions...or start a new topic...

PS: regarding the topic i agree with sunshine5580 that analysing the market is as important as being happy with a salary...HR and companies always shortchange new hires

Hi,

I live in london where I study Bsc psychology at london university(final year) and work part time in retail. However, once I finish my education I would love to move to Qatar and work for a few years. Unfortunatley, I am only 20 years old and I lack experience and I know how important it is to possess this. I am not too concerned with what type of job I will be doing as i am very flexible, adapt to jobs easily and eager to learn. Thankfully I have a British nationality and my english skills are not too bad, but I don't know how useful this will be!

Can you tell me whether there is a good possibility I'll be able to find a job with a good salary or am I better of staying where I am.

p.s. I also have good arabic skills and I live alone.

Medical isn't enough, you should be insured along with your family and what about children's schooling?

Schooling is very expensive. I think this pay isn't enough if schooling is not supported by company.

Yes the salary of QAR 9500 is excluding accom. Accom is being provided by company at their expense.

No edu allowance its not RG or QP, I am not aware of pvt companies gives edu allowances?

What will be saving if sal is 9500 keeping in view of expenses in qatar i checked some estimated budget in QL sites as per that I think a family of couple and two child (2 yr and 4 yr) can do their monthlky exp in 5000 QAR?

As I indicated accomdation is by company which means excluding. Reg education allowance no mention and not applcable as well as it is offered by QP RG etc his offer is from local JV in Doha not any Govt or MNC I mean.

What do u think how much he will be able to save from income his kids are small 4 yr and 2 yr, 4 yr son will be going to play school like my son he goes to Birla and we pay around 550QAR

If your Friend is happy with the Salary, then it is good enough

u shud ask your friend the salary is includng the accomodation or excluding. if its excluding then 9500 is fine. but if ts included in the salary , then good luck to him tht he would find a house less than 7000. also it depends on his experience, coz my uncle is getting paid 28,000 as a project engineer. not saying u shud compare, but u shud know te market. coz nowadays most of the good companies start from 15000. also it depends which company is offering him the position. hope this helps.
