Salary for IT consultant / Gov. Agency

I am a Korean with the Ph.D. degree in telecommunication and 9+ year experience in both research and IT project management.

I have a job offer from the one of Qatar Gov. Agency to work as a consultant in Doha.

They have offered me a monthly salary of 27,000 Qatari Riyal (Base 20,000 + allowance) with other benefits: annual leave, furnished accommodation, air tickets for annual leave, medical care.

Is this good offer? Should I ask more such as tuition, dental care, moving costs, annual bonus, disability, group insurance? Any idea of the usual benefits and allowances for this grade?

I just wanted to know if anyone knows what wage I would get?

Oops I missed to see that there is already provision of Furnished accomodation. Any ways check for other details as I mentioned especially Tution

Basic is OK

Allowance 7000 is very poor, should be atleast 12000 to 14000 coz this will include housing & transportaion

You should definately ask for tution for your kids as they are relatively high here. Say for good American or british schools QR 5000 per month for a kid or little bit lower could be 3000-3500 per month for a kid.

You also should ask for relocating or moving costs / dental and ask them if there is any existing policy of annual bonuses
