Salary expectations??

Hello
I am thinking of accepting a position as HR Manager for a largish well known company in Doha.
What would be the going price?
They have talked about 20 to 25K plus accomodation.
Is this reasonable?
What area in Doha is the better area to reside.
They have not mentioned if the accomodation will be an apartment or villa.

thanks

yo dude!

that's actually a brilliant offer..

i encourage you to accept it.. haha!

but if ever you got kids, i guess

you should request for their

education expenses. hehehe..

bargain a lil bit more. *shrugs*

cause you know, the cost of living is quite high.

you ask for your accommodation in west bay..

most probably in the regency or the beverly tower..

a three bedroom will cost you around 17-19k.

nice amenities and etc..

cheers,

paul :D

I agree with Muhandis.

If u were in dubai for almost same salary, then u need negotiate for more.In Qatar cost of living is more compared with Dubai. And usually people come from Dubai to Doha for a much better proposal.

thanks

Because you said "I reside in a good part of Australia with a good lifestyle. what are your thoughts people of Doha."

You'll be struggling here and regret your decision for years then…

Hey thanks for the feedback.

I used to work in Dubai and on a tad more than this offer and we are talking about Doha.

If this is the norm fine...

Could you let me know of some suburbs which are okish to good.

I reside in a good part of Australia with a good lifestyle. what are your thoughts people of Doha.

Im presuming a villa or apartment will be at least 10k plus. I am seeking at least 2bedroom.

thanks again.

But offhand, if they are offering 20-25k + accomodation, thats pretty good. You could do well here.

In terms of area, it depends on your lifestyle.... do you want to be close to the water or close to more of restaurants, main hotels, etc.?

Car can cost you a few grand depending on what you want (or have they included this or is it a plus on your proposed package)....

But, that is a good salary and if you're single, its great.... family... well, that could be pretty weak depending on how you're living now.

Would advise you to confirm all the conditions of offer before joining.
