Hi all,

I have just got an offer to work in Qatar for one of the airlines and I was hoping the following salary scale would be enough to lead a comfortable life out there. We are a family of 4 with two 3 yr olds.

Salary in hand  -  QTR 13000

Accomodation   -  QTR 10000 per mth

Children education  -  50% paid for.

Water/electricity   -  paid for

Also we are not big spenders but would like to eat out twice a week.

feel glad that they have to be re-certified regularly. At least you know they are up to date with technology.

Thanks for all the info guys. It will def help.

About giving exams - yup for us aircraft engineers we gotta keep up to date with the latest changes on the aircrafts and hence the continued training and exams. But trust me its not that bad.

Anyways thnx once again.

Mind you the older your child means you have to pay more for the education, means chunks of your salary will go towards the school fees.

Except for the school fees, evrything else seems good.
