SALARY DELAY / UNSETTLED SALARIES
Dear QLs
I would like to see if you guys can be of any help to advise me with my current sitation with the previous employer.
I had been working for one of the reputed compnies (1st Employer) in doha for 5.5 years since 2013. Due to the current job market condition, I was asked to look for a another job as the Company had to minimize the Overhead Costs.
In March, 2019, I joined a company (2nd Employer) with an impressive salary package. However, as time passed on, the company gradually had months of salary delay which went upto 5 months to date.
In October 2019, I formally submitted my resignation letter as I was not able to prolong my services due to increasing salary delay. The management was not happy at the initial stage to approve my resignation as I had a bank loan, however, I persuaded them to accept it after they agreed that I should find a replacement - which I did.
My last working day was 30th of November 2019. The PRO was personally threatening me that if I do not change the sponsor within a month time, he would file an "escape case" despite the fact that he knows the compnay is CID & WPS blocked. - The company owes me 4 months salary (48,000 QAR) due to me for Aug, Sep, Oct & Nov 2019.
A travel ban has been imposed against me (which is the normal bank procedure) and I constantly update the bank that I am waiting for the sponsorship transfer - unfortunately, the bank is insisting me on paying the full amount or 48,000 which is to be paid by my exiemployer.
The blocks on the company were cleared and I proceeded with my transfer to my (3rd Employer)(APPLICATION IS UNDER PROCESS). The travel ban will only be lifted against me after I can get the pending salaries transferred to my salary account. I do not have anything to say about the bank because it is what I signed up for - and I have to accept the legal procedure that the bank goes with.

My question is, Am I gonna be able to get the money from the previosu employer after the Sponsorship Transfer / if not, how would I proceed legally for this case? I do not want to give up on the money that I am entitled to get?
TIA
@Daniel ,
This is the only option that I would opt for. My concern is that I was not able to receive the contract or in reality, they never had me singed a contract.
However, I spoke to the Ministry of Labor and told them the situation.
What I do have are;
- Offer Letter Signed by both parties
- Sponsorship Transfer Slip
- QID with the name of the Employer
- Bank Statements indicating No Salaries credited
- Email from the bank confirming no salaries for past months
- Final Clearance confirming that there is nothing pending from my end.
The Company deliberately neglected several requests made to the management.
Unfortunately, they were playing smart in unethical actions.
Thanks for your reply.
Go to the Labor Court.
