hell0 every0ne. i am a nurse from the Philippines. Got a 2 year hospital experience. I applied at a Medical Center in Garafa. Recently I have seen & read the contract. I will be receiving 1800 QR/month. from what i have seen fr0m your posts, regarding salary ranges for nurses at qatar, i can say it is just a little bit higher from what a maid would earn there. & i am so disapp0inted. could any0ne justify this please? is it alright to grab this thing? anyway, you could send me private message/advise in my email>[email protected] and ill tell you d name of d clinic, if it is a clinic or what. thanks alot!

Hi everyone! ;)

I can see there's been a tremendous positive response on each questions here.

I've been called up and offered an assistant mgr position in a marketing dept. they didn't state how much they're offering but instead asking how much am i expecting. Offer states " Salary package inclusive of Housing and transport expenses"

on top of that :

ü 30 days paid leave upon completion of service

ü Return ticket for vacation

ü Medical Coverage

ü Health Insurance

I would seek advise for those who knows the Theme park marketing industry and what shall i consider in accepting this offer. They are expecting immediate reply for Jan 2011.

If i consider this offer,may i knw:

1.walking distance apt to Hyatt plaza, is there any, fully furnished at least studio apt? How much should i expect?

2. how's the weather like, day n night, season?

3. how much is enough for car allowance?

4. should i be considering anything else which i didn't mention here? please state.

I'm a Malaysian in my early 30's - single female and has been in the Events Marketing industry for almost 7 years of profession. Would anyone kindly advise me on this. It was highly recommended by my brother to take up this offer.

Appreciate any reply and advice. thank you. ;)

don't do it, it's way too low, way too low, you will not be able to do anything with that salary, just barely take care of yourself.

dont go for their offer, u could get even much better opportunity. dont spoil ur life as u are professional. nurses here in Hamad medical staff, even in Al-Ahli hospital getting good packages, before signing into any contract make sure u are not through as a private nurse!

ask your employer to increase the offer, the basic still very low for a nurse position.

It may be a private clinic or a vet.

Ya, what is the name of the clinic / Med center.??? May help identify why the salary is so low.
