You have a fantastic qualification and here in qatar they prefer PG with either european or US affliation. That too with 13 yrs exp. Wow.

You must try Qatar gar/ Ras Gas/ Energy gas andpal be patient and negotiate till they give you a good offer.

sorry i dont have much time to write, as i g2g. ill just tell you to watchout for jobs from

RasGas or QatarGas, as they are leading companies in Qatar, and do use mechanical engineers, so you could come. go to www.rasgas.com or www.qatargas.com.qa for more info or vacancies. they also have a hell lot of benefits. you'll get free accomodation in a professional community in a villa, free annual leave upto 45 days per year with paid vacation for expenses and salary also paid in vacation. you get 3-8 percent salary increment per year, 3 percent is a minimum, more likely to get a 5 percent. free loans without any interest and no return back dates set, and a lot more. the salary would be around 15-20k but with a hell lot of benefits. do consider the benefits before you consider the salary. coz the benefits added to the salary would make much more than you'd expect. also you will get free education in a very highly resourceful school for upto 4 kids.
