But he is requesting Eid Holiday 04 days as 16,17,18 & 19 Payment for him, Company say there is 15th of november as a working day you are not entitle for holiday as you leave your annual vacation on 14th. if you a vacation start on 15th you will received it ?
can you explain how is it as per legal System in Qatar?
Mohamed
akram there is something called a day rate on your contract
when you have something on a day rate. You get paid for only the days that you work.
For example if you have like a day rate of 100$ per day
at the end of the month u get 2600$ why is because friday is not paid.
if you work on an off day you get paid over time which is normally 1.5 times more than the normal day rate .
so say you work on a friday you get 150$
however if you have a monthly salary. it is considered as all inclusive.
so you take an off or you dont
you go on leave or you dont
you will get paid a fixed salary
Check the contract mate its easy and simple.
as from what i understood, ur company is right in not giving your manager salary for the four days, as he tuk leave on 14th, as 15th was a working day for your company. had he worked upto 15th and then request leave from 20th (16, 17, 18 & 19 Eid holidays), he wud hav got salary till 19th. this is international rule and i think the same is the case here too...
This gentleman asking does he entitle this 04 days paid leave for him as he leave on 14th November insted of Leave starting 16th (one working day in between that) we can give 04 days leave only or with pay 04days leave add to his annual vacation?
Even in Eid holidays is with gap , 3 days Eid Holidays are payable. As our Co and i know aother cos. This is as per Qatar rules.
as per qatar rules the company has to pay 3 working days for eid even if the person was on vacation since 1st of november
Don't understand what your saying buddy. You are entitled to a certain number of days of "paid leave" a year.
As for Eid Holidays it is a paid holiday not included in your "paid leave" days.
Thats how it normally works anyway, read the contract, it will all (or should all) be in there.
