Regarding Working hours per week in labour
Dear all ,
i am confused and filled with argues ,,, i need to discuss the Regulating working hours in labour law
Query Please read the bold text
The maximum ordinary working hours shall be forty four hours per week at the rate of eight hours per day with the exception of the month of Ramadan when the maximum working hours shall be thirty six hours per month at the rate of six hours per day.
The time spent by the worker in transportation to and from the place of work and residence of the worker shall not form part of the working hours.
The working hours shall include an interval or more for prayer, rest and taking of meals which interval or intervals shall not be less than one hour and shall not be more than three hours. The said intervals shall not be taken into consideration in calculating the working hours
about the interval hours it is for per week one hour or per day ... thanks guide me please
max 44 hours per week,
8 hours a day.
so 5 days week X 8 = 40.
It means on Saturday you work max 4 hours.
Some companies make 8.5 hours a day, so that Saturday is day off.
Some companies have less than 44 working hours per week, like 40 hours or even 35 hours. You get paid overtime if you exceed these hours.
But this is a theory. Practice is quite various.
