Every expat who work in Qatar of course would like to transfer their hard earn salary back home.

I have been working for the past 2 months in Doha, and have a account with a local bank.

What is the best way to transfer money?

At the moment I am in my home country, and use ATM card (with cirrus logo) to withraw money, how much they charge for internation ATM network withrawal?

I tried before to transfer money with internet online. But after waiting few weeks, the money still not credited into my home country's bank account yet (a bit worry...don't know what happen).

I haven't ask the bank yet, because busy with work and the bank open only after 8:00pm during Ramadan month. Just thinking maybe wait few more days....
Will ask the bank about this problem after the holiday.

bring your money to any of their branches.

pay 15QR for the sending fee (regardless of how much you're sending)

you just have to have these details:

your recipient's bank name or swift code

account number

account name

also bring your RP or work permit.

wait 2 to 3 working days and you should have your money credited to your bank :)

if you want a quicker option -- go to these branches and ask for WESTERN UNION transfer. Your money gets transfered in seconds -- but costs a little more -- like min 30QR+ (depending on the amount)

hope this helps!
