Thank You for reply Airliner. Can you tell me are you an employee of this company?I don't know is it true but i have some informations that the Qatarairways has recently increased saleries for maintenance to about 6800$.I really do not know is that true or not. Also have info that they are paying extra 200$ per a/c licence.Do you know are they paying for housing or do you have to pay it by yoursef? If you have to pay it by yourself, after you do it there is not much left from 12-18000 as you said.Don't get me wrong, money is not the only thing why i plan to move to Qatar, but i also do not want to live on bread and water together with my familly.Do you know for any other benefits from company which are making life easier? Manny thanks!

Well Its a quality airline. As for as maintenance engineer , u will have a salary of around 12000-18000 riyals salary. Working conditions r good with a heavy work load. I guess u will love to work in Qatar airways.

About living here. Housing is the major problem. Rents r quite high. 2ndly the transport is a problem too these days . Taxis r difficult to find during busy hours.

One thing good is that u can drive away a car from show room without any down payment and instalments of 1000-2500 riyals depending upon yr choice of vehicle and the payment period.

Life standard is good, Social activities r less although. In Qatar airways Medical is free- insurance cover is also available-rebated tickets facility available. Children upto 18 can stay with u and qatar airways will sponser visa for them . Difficult to obtain resident permit for parents.

feel free to ask anything or help.

I hope this will do needful.

Wish to see u here with us soon
