It's not enough! Thelonius is right, you. Eed to tell them you can't accept it and maybe they will raise their offer. Did the include anything else in the package? Like school, health insurance?

If you're planning to come alone, then welcome. How much will you get if you convert it back to your HOME country? And by home country I mean you country of origin, not citizen.

If you're bringing your family, I would say forget about it. Cost of living is high in Qatar, not to mentioned school for your kids.

This is not enough for anyone who want to educate their child well and live a mediocre life.

Look for Oil and Gas sector jobs. compensations there are a lot better.

All the best.

you may need to negotiate. As said above it depends on your life style, you may manage but with no or very small savings considering only two school going children.

First question is are you a real Canadian? If so I surprised you didn't choke on your Timmys after reading that offer.

It defends on your lifestyle, although is enough to live but if all your children will study here atleast you should have 15k basic salary.
