Is QR18,000/month + free housing + education for children allowance a good deal? Employer is RasGas.

thanks to everybody who responded :)

I have learned that the final pay level will depend on the last interview but for the time being it seems that they would up my pay to QR 25K or so as all experience is from oil & gas.

Thank you again!

If your whole 15-year experience is from LNG or oil and gas, the offered salary is definitely not up to your qualification. But if you're coming from other industries that's still in the range.

Is 18K basic salary?

If you will work in Ras Laffan, you should ask for location, commuting and transport allowance (that may add 5K to your 18K).

18K is okay for family of 4 given you're provided with housing and school.

I have 15 years experience, and have just learned that package might be a bit better than what I thought.

Anyways, would be great to know what is the going rate...

Cheers!

The schooling is worth alot to your package. Depending on your experience really, if you have under 8 years, then that would probably be in the range. Depends on the quality of accomodation you get also. As a total Package i would say it isn't bad, but i would push for travel allowance.

I forgot to say that I am married with 2 children and looking to come to Doha or Al Khor on family status.

Thanks for any answers.
