may i get any overtime salary?

i am coming to qatar next month to work as an accountant in a construction company. what are the usual working hours in offices in qatar and am i eligible for a overtime salary?

Althaf is right. Upon joining the company you should be aware of the policies being implemented internally. But, as per labor law regular working hours should be eight hours and beyond that is considered as overtime.

It all depends on your company, wheather you have overtime or not. Usually if you are on two shifts, they start at 8am to 1pm and 3pm to 6pm respectively. Single shifts are from 7 Am to 1 2Pm. if you work more than 8 hours they consider as overtime.

Once you land in here, please do check with your company's policies.
