Living / Moving to Doha

Hello,

I'm a lecturer from the UK and have an interview for Qatar University in the next month or so. I've spoken briefly to a faculty member, who seemed very nice, on the phone but I was wondering if anyone had any idea about a couple of things about the (possible) move.

Firstly, roughly how much the salary might be for a associate professor / professor (a long shot, I know, but money is a grubby issue!)

Secondly, what it might be like for a left-leaning, short-haired woman of feminist principles to live in Doha.

And thirdly, what people enjoy about Doha and Qatar - so many ex-pats live out there, there must be a lot to recommend it.

Any input would be very gratefully received - it would be a huge move IF they offered me the job!

Best,

Becca
