1. Hi, i'd like to know how much is the best offer can i ask to my employer if the position is chief accountant? the benefits they gave me is family status, free accommodation (fully furnished inclusive of electric and water bill)), medical insurance for my family, free tuition and school fees for my 2 kids, and transportation allowance? What will be the best offer for basic salary will i ask if mentioned above are included?

2. When you say free accommodation fully furnished, does this includes kitchen utensils, plates, glass in short housewares, pillows and beddings(because in Aramco everything is provided, towels and even face towels and beddings are included and we only have to bring our own clothes)

3. How about food expenses per month for the family of 4 (we live in Jeddah and in the Philippines with a simple life style). Just give me an estimate or an average expenses for food ?

4. How about the Philippines school in Qatar? As far as i know their are 2 Philippines school their? Which of this school is above par, and how do you rate (from 1-9) with regards to academic and discipline( Spiritual & moral) ? How much is the tuition fees in elementary school?

Thanking you in advance for your help, looking forward for your immediate, valuable advise and suggestion.

Regards to all kababayan

Cheers Ginla

they will give you details that will answer your thoughts...

nothing will be better than the schools back home (tried and tested).

what is provided in "fully furnished" accommodation. It depends on your employer. They may provide only hard and soft furnishings in the "fully furnished".

It would be worthwhile contacting them and asking.

Hello kabayan, we are also a family of 4 and moved here this 2007 only. For our food budget, you can say QR400 to QR500 will be enough for a week. If you'll be driving your own car then QR30/week will be enough. Relying on taxis and buses for your transpo is not advisable. Sadly though, Philippine schools here have very low standards as compared to schools back home. We're paying P770/month for one kid, this includes tuition and transportation. Hope this helps.
