Hey guys

Just wanted to ask a quick question.
I was offered a job in Dubai.

as an IT consultant.

THe package they offered me is

7500 basic sallary, which goes up to 8,500 once i complete my MCSE , which they are paying for

2000 dhs car allowance, or a brand new top of range honda civic .

3,500 accomodation allowance

phone
laptop
1 return flight back to the uk

and medical insurance

minimum working hours of 44, unsocialble and long hours expected of me.

and offers lots of experience.

What do you guys think of that?

I am scottish, and just completed my degree, and have 3 years IT experience in networking, troubleshooting etc.

Is this a good or bad offer?

Very low salary - you will have to spend entire salary just to pay house rent

You will not get lots of experience here. Unfortunately, there are more incompetent people in the ME than competent ones, so chances are you will not get good experience here.

This is not enough !. i have a friend just rented a one bedroom apartment in Dubai, it's costing him 10'000 AED per month and he was lucky to find it.The figures just don't add up, if you come over your just going to be unhappy, believe me.
