Is It ethical 4 ur company 2 deduct any of ur allowances during ur annual leave? i mean in a private company

i am working in a private company. I finished my 7 months and asked my manager and the accounting department as to how many days of paid leave am I entitled for. they told me 17 days I guess and accordingly I applied for my leave. the remaining days were paid to me by cash since my company doesn't carry forward the remaining days of leave. so, including the eid holidays I had a vacation of about 20 days. please tell me if is it right for my company to deduct my allowances during my leave? I am in a sales field. I get a basic + meal allowance+ telephone allowance+ transport allowance+ housing allowance.
yes I guess deducting telephone and transport allowance is okay. but not totally. I am in sales so sure even on vacation I need to make calls. food they cant deduct, duznt mean if I am on leave I wont eat! :P
but reducing housing doesn't make sense? I still have a rented house in Doha if I am on leave. moreover I didn't move out of country was in Qatar for my leave.
During your annual Paid leave you will be paid based on your basic salary + HRA (if you complete 1 year then you will get for 1 Month House Rent Allowance).this is the common proceedure as per the Qatar Labour Law.
but Few good Private companies do pay the annual leave with full salary, ie,. including all your allowance.
but for common all will do only BASIC + HRA.
Well, you get food allowance, that is good. Me and my team do not, however, allowances are not provided during annual leave, only basic salary
Yes , they can deduct some of the allowances i e tel, trans, meals etc ...
Try asking a special favour to get these ..
