Thanks sagi for ur advice....but i repeat....if any one comes here to qatar at salary of 3500 + accomodation he will live like a beggar ...finishing this amount in 15 days and living balance 15 days on borrowing from creditors...so take my advice and dont even come here if they double it...according to me if there is an executive bachelor he must earn 9000 riyals minimum and if there is a family with two kids he must earn minimum 13,000..this iam telling for a life a bit better than survival...cheers

at rayes49, dude ur so wrong at this point of living a life of a beggar at a salary which is more than enough..one of my dad's freind ears only 1400 riyals + he got an accomodation from his company for his family..still he is living a pleasant life..and u say 3500 + accomodation is not enough..may be it's not enough for begginers..but it will be increased by the time..so till then chill ;)

Hi guys, Why do we confuse Sunny. I have no idea what is his qualification and what sort of job he is going to do. The salary package depends on the above as he is a beginner. There are thousands of pople working in Qatar with half of that salary or even less. It does not mean that he should accpet the offer just like that. If he is qualified and confident to get a better offer he should try that. Qr. 3500/- might not be a good salary for people like fefe and some others who posted and it could be a good salary for some others. It all depends on that person. If he is well qualified and hoping to get up to 5000 he should try.

Well it all depends on your job title..there are people living in Doha happily with less than QR3500/pm with Acco/trans..so if are starter go ahead..to many opinions will disturb your mind.. Good Luck keep going..

FOR YOUR STANDARD, BEGINNER AS YOU SAID, I THINK 5000 SHOULD BE OK. FOR START. JUST TRY AND ASK FOR 5000. MAYBE THEY WILL MAKE IT UP TO AT LEAST 4000-4500 TRY YOUR LUCK AND SEE, BUT I STILL THINK 3500 IS TOO LOW. YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT LESS THAN 1000 USD. QATRA IS VERY EXPENSIVE. BE SURE OF THAT.

It will depend on your Job Profile as well as your standard of living.

As you say you are just starting I think it's OK i.e. if you are cautious in your spending and not much into night life as in clubbing

Many people get less then that and they still save and send money to their family back home

hey sagi, whats great about 3500??

maybe for a student,not for a graduate .

please ask for more. dont rush. take it easy and solve the salery rate. honestly, 3500 is too small to leave your country for this 45 degree heat!!
