Hi I am US citizen and Interventional Pain Physician in New York. I want to open my own practice in Doha, Qatar. Can anyone guide me or give me tips?
Thanks in advance. Also even If I am US citizen, still I will need "wasta"?
Not to be rude, but why? Medical services are dirt cheap in Qatar, even for private clinics. If you charged here what is the going rate in NY I suspect you'd have very few patients. My friend had an emergency room visit here in Doha recently and her total charged were 4 QR, about one dollar. And that included medication. Correct me, those in the know, but comprehensive delivery charges in private hospitals here run around $2,000 maximum. Perhaps you might want to contact Weill Cornell Medical College, the med school here in Doha, for more info about US-style medicine in Qatar.
Qatar's winter months are brimming with unmissable experiences, from the AFC Asian Cup 2023 to the World Aquatics Championships Doha 2024 and a variety of outdoor adventures and cultural delights.
