Im 36, Malaysian, an experienced Personal Assistant/ Secretary (15 yrs). Will any of the companies in Qatar accept me? I'll be following my husband. If there is any, what's the maximum (salary/mth) I should demand?

considering that you have 15 years of experience, you cud easily ask for about 13,000 - 14,000 QAR in an OIL & GAS company. The same might not be the case in other private firms, where they move around QAR 10,000- 12,000 for secretarial and admin related positions.

Whatever the case, i wud advice you not to join/accept any offer less than 6000 QAR. It will be better if you decide to keep your sponsorship under your husband when you join these firms as well.

Kindly note: the salaries mentioned varies a lot, this is just rational salary calculation. Some employees get paid double the amount you see for the same positions and some of them are paid half.

All the best with the job hunt dude!!

Once you are here summit your CV to the recruiting agencies. And call them and follow up. they might first provide you with some temporary vacancy. Salary depends on the organization... you can ask min. 7000/- if its good company they will provide more.
