How much I should be earning as live in Nanny in Dubai?

I am looking for position as Live in nanny in Dubai and had fair number of offers but they are all asking how much I want to earn. I am not sure what is avarage for this type of work and also if I should be asking to get paid in pounds, US dollars of their currency?
Can anybody help please?

As earlier mentioned your earnings depends on your nationality and whom you are working for. You can expect to paid around 1200-1800 drms.have not heard of anyone paying their nannies in foriegn currency in UAE.

I stand to be corrected but I think most sponsored live in nannies (who also work as maids) earn no more than QR1500 a month. And that's if they're earning well. I hear a lot of them only earn QR700 a month.
