It is not how much you earn that really matters, it is how you spend what you earn. Try to adjust your way of living if with the amount of salary you're earning you haven't saved any sum. Live below your means, or spend less that what you earn. Because even if you earn much and spend much more, still you will not be able to save. Financial planning is applicable to anybody, not only to those large earners.

Have the will and self discipline and start now, even little by little but consistently, rather than waiting 'til your salary becomes 5 digits.

if these are ur interest as u stated in ur profile (latest gadgets, traveling, sports, music, fashion) even twenty thousand (20,000) a month are not enough, be realistic and stop these activities specially " girls dig me like chocolate bars" I do not know how u can manage even one girl friend in ur salary, please be a man and budget ur expenses according to ur earnings, may be one day u will regret all ur interests and hobbies, do some thing before it is too late. Do u you know lot of people working here earn lot less than what u earn but they do not publicize these interest and they have not left their country for "latest gadgets, traveling, sports, music, fashion"

First list all your expenses like food, hala, groceries. etc..etc.

then prioritise your list like 1 is for food

1 food

2 hala

3 groc.

then assign the fixed amount.

1 food (30 days x 10rials) 300

2 Hala 150

3 groceries etc. 500

then lived with it, if you overspent in one item like you spent 20rials in a day, spend less your budget in the nxt day... then maybe you can coup up with that salary.

or set the fixed amount for a month then divide it for 30 days (1500/30 = 50 rials per day) then lived with that amount for a day then you can save 500 rials a month.. hehehe why not?

goodluck

Depends on how much you spend. If you love shopping and dine out often. I think your salary is not enough.

Basically there is NO point in thinking of amount you will save, because with this salary you cant live a under average life even!, yes as others have said, you need to forget eating, travelling, calling your family back home, enjoying weekends and ofcourse stay in a room which is already occupied by atleast 5 people, then surely you can save upto 1000 Riyals. But this all is easier said and written than done!. So my friend dont think to accept the offer with this salary! If your company is providing with free accomodation, food and travel then may be you could save upto 1000 Riyals!

Ummmmmm... where to start.... oh yeah... you will need to stop buying food to eat, water to drink, things to wash with, toiletries, etc.

You will then need to stop going anywhere and stay at home, you will need to cancel your satellite subscription, inet connection. Get rid of your mobile phone and anything else that costs you money....

Once you have done all this you will be able to save... so basically give up living and you can save the measly QR2000 that they are paying you.....
