Good package?

Hey guys,
I hope this post finds you all well.
Some of your wisdom please.
I have been offered a role in Qatar with a total package between 40-45k/month (all inclusive of housing, etc.) I will be coming over with my wife. Is this a good package to live decent life in Doha? Also will around 12k get us a decent place to live (area, quality of property with good amenities)- We are looking at Al-Waab (even though its a nightmare to get in there albeit open to options). I would ideally like to spend less that the 12k if possible and we are planning on coming over in the next few weeks to get a feel for the place. Thanks in advance for your views/advise/opinions. Mid-range and livable would describe it. Don't skimp too much on housing, you spend a lot of time there!

You are getting one of the best package. Housing? if you want to live a little bit far, try finding a villa at Ezdan 2 in Wakra which is near Sealine beach. It,s around 20 to 30 minutes to the city proper.
A 4 bedroom flat with 3 CR at Ezdan 2 cost around QR 8,000.00 per month plus 6 months free.
A 2 bedroom and 2 bathroom cost around 4T QR. All the flats are fully furnished.

cool offer, 12k flat is enough, although 8k flat standard for 3BR with CR inside, hall kitchen & salah.
