End of Service Gratuity

Does any one can please clarify whether the annual gratuity is based on no. of days or no. of working days...? (as per Qatar labour law).

ie, Gratuity of 21 days salary/year means 21 days salary or 21 working days salary..?

The simple answer is

21 working days basic salary. i.e.the monthly basic.

If you resign or are terminated within 3years of service you are entitled for 21 days (basis salary /30 x 21) per year. If you have completed 3years of service or more one month’s salary per year.

The law is one month salary per year worked. So if your contract says 21 days, it must mean working days.
