You should say QR 10000 onwards, that is my expectations which are totally natural. I know that the average salary for Architectural/Civil Engineer is QR 13000 so how come that it starts from QR 3000?
Do you actually in Qatar? Are you engineer yourself?
If you have the right skills and experience then sky is the limit provided you know to negotiate with those HR people. It all depends on the company you are applying for mainly.

Hi, as I’m one of those dazzled about Qatar I sat myself up a goal that to catch up the World Cup 2022’s preparations in terms of constructions and building environment as an engineer.
This year is my final year in BSc Architectural Engineering and I’m expecting to graduate in the summer 2013 with grade of A Class. I’m planning to go for MSc Structural Engineering the following year, if I’m still alive’! My question is for those engineers who are already on the ground there in Qatar and for those relevant companies owners what specifically the topic the most wanted in Civil or Architectural Engineering in Qatar that I should focus on and make it my main dissertation project for example such as Structural Elements Design Calculations or Soil Mechanics etc..
Also what if I decide to stop at BSc degree and look for job in Qatar would I find one easily? What salary and benefits would I get? Knowing that I have the following qualifications:
1)A Civil Engineering Diploma in buildings construction (2 years) from Kuwait.
2)A Professional Licence in Civil Engineering in draughts and designing (1 year) from France.
3)A BSc Architectural Engineering (3 years) from UK.
4)I speak flawlessly Arabic, French and English.
5)A French citizen.
I appreciate in advance the answers and the advices that you will be giving.

A 10 years experience is at least a minimum of QR25,000 to 33,000.
depend upon experience and degree,either master or bachelor.
I will add, It would be paid when others get it ..
