Civil Engineer Salary
Hi,
If someone has knowledge of Qatar construction market, could you please let me know what you think is a reasonable salary for chartered civil engineer with MSc, 9 years of experience and 2 kids (coming from UK)?
Also, how much is 3 bedroom apartment in Qatar?
How much is primary school and do I have to apply so early before school start in September? Can I apply from the UK if necessary?

D82, rule of thumb is competitive salary for your position in your home country plus 25% plus housing, medical, air tickets and children's schooling.

it all depends very much on what ur earning now and how much do you want to be saving whilst here? it doesnt seem that you have an offer from your message so if ur lookgin for recruitment contacts then let me know i may be able to help. you can always just ask them what ball park you should be looking at.
I'm ok now with the last two points regarding schools and accommodation. However, I'm still unsure about the salary that I should ask for. Please advise if you can.
