Big 4 Sr. Consultant - Salary Offered
I have been offered a Sr. IT Auditor / Sr. Consultant position in Qatar with a Big 4 firm. In my case they have given me a range where my salary would be, and that would include pretty much everything.
-The range is between 40,000 and 60,000 €. (179,178.15 QAR - 268,847.20 QAR)
- I would be responsible for my housing, utilities and transportation with that salary.
- 1 or 2 trips a year to my home country. (This still has to be defined)
- Health and life insurance would be covered by the firm.
- Nothing said about vacation yet.
Just some background info about me, I have 3 years experience in IT Auditing / Consulting, both in the US and in Spain. I am a Spanish national and single. I hold BSBA in MIS and I am CISA certified.
I would greatly appreciate your opinion on how attractive the package is. Especially taking into consideration that housing and transportation is not included, and based on the info available on this site, that would be close to 1500€ a month.
My goal is to advance professionally, save some money and live comfortably with this salary.

it's not clear. you said, you will be paying your housing out of this salary, and then you say, housing is not included..
now.. between 179,178.15 QAR and 268,847.20 QAR is huge difference.
If it's 179,178.15, including EVERYTHING , it is bad.
If it's 268,847.20 QAR + housing allowance, sounds not too bad at all for someone with ONLY 3 years of experience.
