Auto Technician Supervisor...

Hello all... I am from Malaysia... I've been working in the automotive industry for 1.5 years. I've been offered a job by NAS (is it a good company by the way) in their automotive sector in Doha as a technician supervisor. They are offering me QAR5,000 upon confirmation. I was wondering if this is a good offer and is it enough for me to sustain myself (in terms of food and a little social life) and at the same time be able to save. Lodging and transport are provided.

Any opinion is greatly appreciated as from my point of view, I feel as if I am being shorthanded compared to all the stories that I have heard (or are they just fairy-tales).

Thank you Alex for the info... I guess its fortunate for me that I am still single (sadly). But with the amount, will it be enough for my food and a little entertainment?

Not bad for a newbie. Considering free lodging and transpo. But your salary can't even sponsor a residence visa for your own family let alone a visit visa for them.
