Allowances in Government Sector
Hello Everyone,
I am new to this forum and need some help, i have recently accepted an offer from one of the government organization in Qatar, and currently arranging all the required documents for entry visa. I need to know do Government organizations in Qatar provide Tickets for there prospective employee to arrive Qatar on entry visa for the first time and do medical and other bits and pieces.
Secondly upon arrival in Qatar do they pay there employee some expenses so they can live in Qatar till there Residence visa process is finalized or an employee has to bare his own expenses and cover the cost of living once the Residence visa decision is finalized.
Last but not least when a government employee can apply for there family visa to arrive and join him in Qatar
If anyone can answer my queries and will help me out.

You will receive family tickets + bonus + car + house + childern fee + food allowances + furniture allowance + maid allowance + Trip with family to Europe once an 1 year but but only for locals not for exptriates....
agree with CG28, it should be written on your offer letter...what company? All government sectors here in qatar pays well.
Thanks guys for your replies do you know is there any restriction that one cannot leave the job for 2 years or something like that in Qatar Government departments
yes everything you have asked is provided by the government.
regarding family visa, you can apply for it as soon as you get your residence permit.
even though i told you that everything is provided, get a response of your queries in writing just to be safe from the hr department.
If all these terms are not clearly written in your offer letter, better be careful!

wait till you get the written contract, everything will be added in there. you will come to know what u earned!
