Adequate Living Wage in Qatar?

I have been offered a job in the government sector; my wage shall be approx. 14,500 QAR a month plus allowance (Accommodation + Health Coverage + Schools in something called “Independent school” + Furniture + Ret. Ticket).
I‘m considering moving to Qatar with my wife & 1 kid in mid Jan 2011.
I guess my question regarding the wage: Is it adequate for 3 ppl. to live comfortably as well as save? I forgot to mention one critical point I’m offered a middle management designation, & less than 5 years experience!!

Cheers

Hello cooldude2010, Thanks for your prompt answer I just want to clarify few things, first of all the accommodation paid by the government, secondly education fully paid only in something called "Independent School" what do you think of these schools? & now I have clarified some of package details. Do you think it’s an attractive wage package? THAX!

14500 for survival is ok as rent charges are from 4000 to 5000 food expenses 2000 Education upto 2000, but ur coming from good saving point of view this is not good offer as doha is very expensive and after the 2022 winning Bid it will become more expension

Increment in Salary is very less every year compare to the expenses , Family Life Sucks . so dnt just thin from money point only take all the points before relocation as u may regret and blame urself for a wrong decision, as after here i had a hard time getting a job in india or anyother place.
