Accomodation benefits reduced

For the past previous months, our current employer is paying 3,000QR to our accommodation but reduced to 2,000QR this month due to misunderstanding between our principal flat lessee and our current employer (our employer is 19days delayed in payment of our rental last month). We (2 employees) were forced to assume the QR1,000.00 or QR500 to maintain the house. Is this legal? Any other options we have to take?
