Is 30K QR monthly to much?

My husband and I lived in Qatar about 5 yr ago, we miss it & since we have children now would be a great place to bring them up. My husband is a Planning & mechanical engineer with 1 yr experience in the states. Is 30 thousand QR to much to ask for & is it even being offered?
