Top officials from the Aspire Zone Foundation (AZF) officially opened Freej Aspire on Friday evening.
AZF President Engineer Hilal Al Kuwari, Acting CEO Mohammad Khalifa Al Suwaidi and other dignitaries attended the opening ceremony and toured the venue to learn about activities and features.
Freej Aspire includes a traditional games area, a corner for traditional arts and henna, a cycling exhibition, children’s shows on the Freej Aspire stage, children’s workshops on Arabic calligraphy and graffiti, miniature football fields and basketball courts, in addition to spaces for small and medium Qatari businesses to exhibit products and services.
It offers members of the community the opportunity to enjoy a unique cultural atmosphere in an 8,000 square metre air-conditioned open area across from Aspire Printing Press.
