Al Aziziyah Boutique strong on Iftar flavours
Deciding where to break your fast can often be an intimidating decision, and that’s why we’ve tried to look around for as many options as possible to best guide you in terms of budget and taste.
Our latest stop was at Al Aziziyah Boutique Hotel’s Flavours Restaurant, located within Aspire Zone near Villagio.
The hotel itself brings and old country side feel to its design and ambience, and the Flavours restaurant is both warm and welcoming with its Ramadan setup.
The restaurant offers an Iftar buffet that is intimate and family friendly, allowing guests to break their fast amongst those who are looking to simple enjoy a good buffet dinner.
The Iftar food selection is a mix of traditional meals while maintaining a strong selection of international delicacies.
An impressive salad and starter selection will help you break your fast the right way, and the perfect compliment to your opening date is a bowl of Harira soup, which represents the Flavours restaurant by name and taste.
The standout main dishes are easily the seafood stew and the lamb ouzi which represent two very different cuisines but deliver equally in satisfaction. However there is enough of a variety to keep those who prefer chicken (or simply vegetarian) full too.
If you still have space for dessert after all of that, then why not reward yourself with a sweet treat or Arabic pastry.
Flavours restaurant delivers a quality Iftar offer for those who prefer their setting a bit more low key. But what Flavours lacks in décor, they more than deliver for with taste. If there was such a thing as a hidden iftar gem, this is it.
