Qatar recently announced that its building an 112 Storey Building in Corniche. Thats a wonderful deal and Qatar is ready to rank with Worlds Tallest Buildings soon....
Burj Dubai - Tallest Building as of now had already broken the world records of the Tallest Building in Nevada and CN Tower in Canada.
The picture shows what its like when you are on the top of Burj Dubai Tower.....the earth is really round in shape...awesome!

I'm off to Dubai for two days tomorrow. Where should I go? What should I see?
I may be wrong, but I don't think there is officially anything higher than a 5* hotel. But obviously some places like to take it to the next level and distinguish themselves by adding a couple more stars to the rating (and a couple hundred more dollars to the rates).
Can't wait until they start Heaven's Gate.

dear visit burj al arab then you will know why its 7 starts.
i think burj-dubai is mixed.. office, retail, dining, residential and etc. right? anyway, I'm wondering why burj al arab is 7-star?

I don't think Burj Dubai is a hotel. Perhaps you mean the Burj Al Arab hotel, which is 7* (allegedly) but not that tall.
Not just the tallest but the worlds first 7 star class hotel.
