Working Dress Code??
I will be flying to Doha next week to attend my 4th interview with QP, for my medical and for a couple of days of "orientation to life in Doha" as they put it.
Please could somebody enlighten me as to what would be deemed acceptable working dress code when I am there. I presume that the "interview" will need to be formal - jacket and tie with long sleeved shirt. I am more interested in what would be acceptable for the rest of the visit? I presume that jeans and a golf shirt would not be appropriate. How about chinos or casual long trousers with a open collared cotton shirt? Or would they expect a tie to be worn as well?
I look forward to your replies.

On the way to Doha
No, make it a proper buttondown.
Not a golf/polo shirt. I don't think they'd be unimpressed but be on the safe side.
Thanks for the comment e46M3. When you refer to a casual shirt would this include a golf shirt or not? I would certainly hate to offend anybody when I am supposed to be impressing them!!

You'll be fine in a buttondown/casual shirt and chinos.
Unless you're going to be top-management I don't think they'll expect you to be formally dressed all the time.
Perhaps a light jacket for dinner at night if you're invited to dinne at a restaurant.
