Woriking Qatar airways
My friend is working for Qatar airways for 3 months and he wanted to go home for short visti (2-3 days) but he couldn't get the exit permit to leave the country and nobody told him why, just that he could get one afther 6 month work for QA. Did anybody have same experience with exit permit and what he should do?
ask him to read the Staff Handbook, it should be with his/her manager. what i know is that you need to complete 6 months first before he/she can go on leave (win an ID90 ticket)
- live your life as simple as you are
- money doesn't create man, but it is the man who created money
- don't do what others say, just listen to them, but do what you feel good
There is no rule like that... you can go and come anytime as long as your company gives you the exit permit...
Some companies have their own internal rules...
...You can't mean what you say unless you can say what you mean...
I had to leave Qatar for three days because I had to do the final examination for some studies I did. I arrived here first in December (17th) and had to go to Germany on January 8. Came back on January 10. No problem - I booked the flight, my HR office took care of the Visa. Cost me QR 300.00 and that's it. Before I left, I did not have my ID, but already passed the medical and the fingerprinting.
When I came back, they asked me at the airport if I had money or a credit card - guess they wanted to try to get some additional money out of it, but I said no and - halas, that's it.
My friend had something similar, she was here for one month or so and had to go to Dubai - same procedure, even before the fingerprinting.
Maybe it depends on the nationality???
It's not an experiance, its like a rules. No one can leave the country before 6 months, as far as I know. 6 month is the probation period.
It's always the small things that make big differences.
