I have a USB ADSL modem "Speedtouch" from QTEL and want to upgarde to wireless. Do I replace the modem with a router or connect the modem to the router?? and do I need to change any internet settings?

get a belkin wireless router and make sure u get the a/b/g/n, it covers all the networks and Belkin reaches very far... atleast the one that I have, it covers around 50 meters radius.

The easiest is to replace the Modem with a Combined Wireless Router and Modem, if you got a big house/App - you might also need a wireless Signal extender to extend signal to all areas.
I did the same, went to Carrefour and got a new Linksys box. Be aware if you have a bigger villa get the bigger box. I live in a bungalow and they told me that the small box would be fine, but in some of the bedrooms no access. My box is in the living room. So get a bigger one is my recommendation

You may find Belkin router&modem technology N1+ in Sophitel (near Mercure Hotel)- it's with the bigger range for the moment.
