After the great success of our previous events: 'Sight insight' and 'Envision', Dohakoottam proudly presents in association with Hyatt Plaza & Qatar Birders Club: “WINGS OF QATAR”- an exhibition to portray the beauty of birds of Qatar & to explore the potential of birding in this golden desert.
Dohakoottam - A group of like-minded Indian amateur photographers, solicits your esteemed presence on the occasion of the opening of WINGS OF QATAR on Friday 26th February at 4pm at Hyatt Plaza. The event, organized to commemorate the QATAR ENVIRONMENT DAY, will be open to the public daily from 10am to 10pm until Sunday.

there are plenty of birds around at the moment. i think they are the wintering birds. They fly over and on my house every day taunting my cats !
i put two examples in the qatar living flickr pool under my name
anyway hope to go to this exhibition, sounds interesting to at least be able to identify the birds i see at home.

This exhibtion will be unexeptional and will project moe around 80 bird images as well as one of the BBC award winning photo.
SO expect the unexpected in a tiny place called Qatar.

I must admit that I'm curious, I didn't see birds here except sparrow in city and falcon in desert :)
Good luck with your expo. As a one time RSPB member I'll try and make this one.
