Why contractors do not pay on time?

Constracting sector is one of the largest private sectors giving employments to more than a million people in Qatar. However this sector is highly un regulated and mostly un organized where thousands of stories of non payment and visa trade roam and roam around.

While Qatar is on the move to achieve higher growth via the private sectors, it is the time to give ears to these stories and introduce much needed regulations, one of the most essentials being is to regulate the payment mechanism amongst the contractors & sub contractors, which are held up for months and years. An estimate suggests that 80% of contractors never pay on time.

Greed can be cured by an inner feeling of contentment .......... it's a control of contractor's mind to stop from eating somebody's mouth ................. ...........
