SAMAEL, i use to have 2 of those cleaners... But when we bought this new tank couple of weeks ago, one of them - the pink one - passed away few days later.. that's why i am worried, whether this green stuff is harmful for the aquarium.. however, the second cleaner - the dark one - is still working 24/7 and growing dramatically..:)

buy one of those sucky fish things that stick to the glass, they supposedly keep the glass clean. Forgot the Actual name of the fish though. Think it is called a "Chinese Algea Eater" (not available in the mega-mart carpark).
it is a new tank, absolutely new...a fresh water... we have just bought it 2-3 weeks ago...and it doesn't look like algae.. i mean it's not growing from the bottom to the top.. it's rather coming down from the top to the bottom, like a green dust or something.. i would say like a green snow.. LOL..and it covers all around.. but what do you mean by the cleaning a whole system? just to change the water and to wash the aquarium? do you think it will be gone? why does it come in the first place?

Algae? only solution is to use a glass scraper and use it to clean the fish tank glass each time you brush your teeth. That way the glass will remain clean forever
beer would be color of beer.. this is a pure green bright stuff.. where is it coming from ??? it is nice though on the top of the decoration.. but not on the glass of the aquarium from inside.. beside I am worriedthat it might damage my valuably fishes somehow (spiritually valuable)...

If you don't want to clean your fish tank daily.
Then buy a pair of good speedo goggles and a snorkel. Then submerge your head in the fish tank to see your beloved fishes.
Algae will not harm the fishes. To the best of my knowledge, fishes like to eat algae. they will peck at the glass and all decoration inside.
May be your aquarium is getting too much natural sunlight. sunlight accelerate algae growth.

That's algae you will have to do a major water change and clean the full system BTW is it Salt water or Fresh water tank?
