Who wants to live forever? Scientist sees ageing cured!!

LONDON (Reuters) - If Aubrey de Grey's predictions are right, the first person who will live to see their 150th birthday has already been born. And the first person to live for 1,000 years could be less than 20 years younger.

A biomedical gerontologist and chief scientist of a foundation dedicated to longevity research, de Grey reckons that within his own lifetime doctors could have all the tools they need to "cure" ageing -- banishing diseases that come with it and extending life indefinitely.

"I'd say we have a 50/50 chance of bringing ageing under what I'd call a decisive level of medical control within the next 25 years or so," de Grey said in an interview before delivering a lecture at Britain's Royal Institution academy of science.

If anti ageing medicine works 100%. It will be the end of human race. Even now itself there is no much resources in earth to feed people. Moreover earth has already lost its delicate balance.  Noone is even thinking that the 1/4 land is covered with 3/4 water. It can easily swallow the whole land within minutes. A series of natural disasters can wipe out the entire race.Or if anything big that is even half of the earth hits earth, we will be no more. It's more important to reverse earths condition than invent anti ageing or immortality drugs. So dont even dream about it.

Don't tell me, we as humans are already acting like cancer in the body called Planet Earth, with is we will become more like HIV. The only difference here would be that we have only one body to affect and for sure it will die before even we could cross 200 years of our age... As of now, the human race is already facing major problem with food and water supply, thanks to all the cures and medications that is extending our life’s which is not balanced with the ratio of the births.

In simple words, if we had 10 members to feed from 10 acre of land 100 years ago, the same 10 acres has to feed 100 people by the end 100 years and about 600 to 1000 by next 200 years. We are nothing but virus on this planet and the planet is now try to fight with a cure called tsunamis, hurricanes, earth quacks, plagues etc...
