White lies, sometimes necesary or not?

Let's see what this one brings out. Is it o.k to lie to your friend, spouse , parents etc, if you had done something wrong. If you tell the truth it might hurt the person or even worse end the relationship. Or is it best to tell the truth, get it out and take the risk?

That explains the reduced baggage limit (and ever reducing) for 'eco' passengers. I am willing to sacrifice for your precious 'bum'ies as long as you 'fizz' in your area.

Actually u r nearly right - Fatcat, for example, has to fly Biz because of her rather ample posterior - apparently she would be a Safety hazard if she got that wedged into an Eco seat......................Yippeeeeeeeeee the trolley is here! Hic!

And big mouth....Oopsie white lie, white lie come to me.

If you analyze with the help of "law of thermodynamics and Boyel's law" you may conclude that since the pressure in the economy chamber increases by farting from the 'Top" class passengers a thermal equilibrium takes place and to balance the entropy created in eco class, the pressure on the 'Business and First class' mind increases and reduces the volume of their brains.

I dunno. Here's the thing: no matter how much a person will lie, time after time the stench'll reveal automatically no matter how much you've kept it that long...

This only applies to first and business classpassengers wishing to break wind in flight. It is considered to be vulgar to fart in the front of the plane where most passengers are TOP people such as moi. QA simply asks that those wishing to fart walk backwards in to Economy and let rip there. It sounds reasonable to me as Eco passengers usually stink in any case. A truly wonderful and thoughtful policy! Yippeeeeeeeeee I love QA! Wheres the trolley Hic!

The Famous Bard once Farted with volume whilst reciting one of his silly poems. He apologised to the crowd of 2 saying 'You cannot hold what is not in your hands ' So true! Hic! A double me thinks Yipppeeeeeeeeeeeee!

Why be a silent farter when you can fart with volume - in Economy only of course. One can also clear ones throat with volume I do believe but i have never actually flown in Eco - its at the back isnt it? Yippeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Just got up - gin time!

Very good answers so far.

Now. Say for instance you sit in a plane, and let go a silent fart. When the guy next to you looks at you in disgust. Will you look back and frown in disbelieve that someone good fart on a plane, or do you shyly acknowledge that it was you and apologize?

Everyone that said to always tell the truth, what would you do now. Lie or tell the truth and be known as the stinky ass on flight 523?

and the chance of getting found out is almost zero, then lie about it... but dont forget what you lied about, you might get caught later by singing a different tune...

for me if i can avoid lying, i avoid it by remaining quiet or keeping a distance from the person for awhile...

just balance the consequences. Like if your wife will ask you how she look while heavily pregnant. it will stress her more if your going to tell her that she look like a whale in the sea.

Always tell the truth. That way, you don't have to remember what you said.

Aways tell the truth.

In case truth is harmfull and not usefull, then avoid.

If it is harmful but useful you have balance and decide what is better, to go with truth or to avoid.

But Lies are never good.

War looking for peace,

is like fornication looking for virginity.

If the lie is of such nature that would end your relationship it's probably better to tell the truth. Sooner or later the truth is likely to come out anyway so better to get over and done with.
