Where is the new BMW 5 series?
Hi All,
Few months back I was tipped towards buying the new BMW 5 series starting at 190,000. I didn't though as I found better alternatives and bought GXR V8 instead.
Now that I realize, I don't see many new BMW 5 series on the road at all. In fact I see more 7 series than 5 series.....
what has happened? are they not selling at all or what?
Has anyone else noticed this?
How much you selling for Rye....what model/year and miles?

Once you've driven a 7 series you wouldn't opt for anything less.
I just saw that they are giving away the 5 series as part of lucky draw.....I guess thats the only way they can increase their numbers on the road....I bet they have more salesmen selling bmw 5 series than the car on the road itself....
Yes def I am enjoying every moment of the drive in my GXR proly would be regretting getting an expensive sedan car like BMW 5 series or even Audi Q5....
.....yeah i saw one few weeks back......it's beautiful.....btw i must say you made a good decision by choosing GX-R instead of 5 series :o)......
Two different cars serving two different purposes..
The 5 series is aimed at the Middle Class driver whereas the 7 series is much more expensive to run and aimed for someone usually with more than one car..
Maybe some have been put off by the new shape of the 5 series, but there are still quite a few around..
Was behind a new 535 tonight on the drive home from work, its okay but would much prefer the Z4, but not with the 3.5 bi-turbo, I like the mid level 3.0, the in line 6 cylinder naturally aspirated engine is perfect for the roadster and have heard the 3.5 is too brutal for the chassis of the car. I'd very much like a used Z4 if anyone has one for sale, keeping an eye on Al Fardan to see if Ramadan brings any special deals that might tempt me to open my wallet.
The new 5 Series has already launched here in qatar quite some time ago.I have seen a few of them on the streets but i have seen more 3 series and 7 series as well.I personally do not like the new 5 series,i prefer the previous model.
No I am not talking about M5. I am talking about the new 5 series like 518, 523, 525 and so on....the design is nice....it resembles more like the 7 series than the 3 series......
Anyone has any clue on this at all???
