Hey if you are not happy with the quality of ice in doha, or where they sell it? Then, pay a visit to the north pole, greenland, south pole, but hurry they are melting fast 2,,,,,,
LOL I just bought some cooler bricks in the end and stuck them in the freezer. I've only been here a short time and dont know all those places (plus its Friday).
The cooler will contain sardines marinated in orange juice, rosemary, brown sugar and chile. Also chicken wings marinated in soy/orange/brown sugar/chile. Maybe some sparkling wine and a chardie too. BBQ time!
Have you guys purchased ice from the above mentioned places lately.
FFC, Lulu, Dasman, do not sell ice anymore. According to them, all Groceries and Hyper markets have been banned from selling ice cube bags by the municipality.
Nice to know if the above mentioned places still sell ice. I was luck to pick up some at Teyseer Petrol station, the grocery shop there sells ice kept under the icecream trays. The Petrol station is next to VIP roundabout before the ras abu aboud flyover.
The Grocery shop next to Teyseer petrol station on your right if you are coming from the mall R/A towards the inner R/A, where you turn right for Abou Homour and left for Wakrah. Hope you guys get the place.
The QMart at The Mall sells it--in the back of the freezer section near the vegetables. It comes in these plastic bags inside a plastic shopping-type bag, so they're easy to overlook. About QR10 per bag.

Thanks
